For Students!

If you are a student, here's a list of things that you personally can do to avoid high textbook prices:

• Buy textbooks with a group of friends
• Request that professors make the book available to use or borrow
• Write to the university and professors to encourage the end of high prices
• Use open source texts and PowerPoints to get the majority of studying done
• Use websites like PackBack to rent textbooks for a day or two for a fraction of the cost (for exam crams)
• Go through Chegg, Amazon, and other vendors to buy used or older editions
