- Buy textbooks with a group of friends
- Request that professors make the book available to use or borrow
- Write to the university and professors to encourage the end of high prices
- Use open source texts and PowerPoints to get the majority of studying done
- Use websites like PackBack to rent textbooks for a day or two for a fraction of the cost (for exam crams)
- Go through Chegg, Amazon, and other vendors to buy used or older editions
